Take a stroll

Thanks to the hotel’s convenient location, you can take beautiful walks along the seafront strolling to Marina di Massa, Ronchi or Forte Dei Marmi town centres. For those who prefer cycling there’s a long bike path that goes down the coastline from Marina di Massa towards Viareggio.

At only 400 metres from the hotel, along the banks of the River Frigido, there is a nature trail for you to walk or cycle on, a relaxing stroll suitable for adults and children.

There are a few well conserved small towns, authentic gems, which can be reached quickly and it’s a pleasure to walk along the stone-paved streets of Pietrasanta, with their artistic studio workshops or medieval Sarzana.

Discovering Lunigiana and its Castles

The province of Massa boasts many castles and manor houses that are dotted along the ancient Francigena Road, or which guard the entrances to the ancient towns of the Lunigiana valley.

During the summer there are numerous interesting events like the Medieval Market that takes place in the ancient village of Filetto in August. For a few days every year it becomes animated with elves, jugglers and historic characters in a fantastic and surreal atmosphere.

Food lovers can discover the original taste of local food in places where time seems to have stood still.

The vast park of the Apuan Alps is the backdrop to the hotel, a huge world in itself, with many different itineraries to choose from. Of great interest are the excursions to the Antro del Corchia and the Grotte del Vento.
